Health, Safety & Sustainability

1. Purpose

Atlas CCM is committed to operating responsibly and supporting safe, professional and sustainable project environments. Although Atlas CCM is primarily an advisory and consulting organisation, our people may work with clients in construction, mining, energy, infrastructure, transportation, oil and gas and industrial environments. These sectors can involve significant health, safety, environmental and social risk.

2. Health and Safety Commitment

Atlas CCM expects its people to:

• follow applicable health and safety laws and site rules;
• comply with client induction and access requirements;
• stop and seek guidance if a task or site condition appears unsafe;
• wear required personal protective equipment;
• report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions;
• avoid interfering with plant, equipment or operations unless authorised;
• respect emergency procedures and exclusion zones.

3. Client Sites

When working on client sites, Atlas CCM personnel must respect the client's health, safety and environmental management systems. If site requirements are unclear, access should not proceed until instructions are confirmed.

Atlas CCM advisory personnel should not place themselves or others at risk to obtain photographs, records, access or information.

4. Travel and Remote Working

International consulting work may involve travel, remote locations and unfamiliar environments. Atlas CCM expects reasonable planning for travel safety, communication, local requirements, health risks, security conditions and emergency contacts.

5. Sustainability Commitment

Atlas CCM recognises the importance of responsible business practices, environmental stewardship and efficient use of resources. Our sustainability approach is practical and proportionate to our role as a consultancy.

Atlas CCM aims to:

• reduce unnecessary travel where remote delivery is effective;
• use digital workflows where appropriate;
• avoid wasteful document production;
• support clients in improving project governance and reducing rework;
• consider environmental and social impacts in project advice where relevant;
• respect local communities and stakeholder obligations in project environments.

6. Environmental Responsibility

Atlas CCM's approach is informed by environmental management principles, including identifying environmental aspects, managing risks, complying with applicable requirements and improving performance over time. Atlas CCM does not claim certification unless separately confirmed.

7. Sustainability in Client Advice

Atlas CCM's core services can support sustainability indirectly by improving project controls, reducing avoidable rework, strengthening records, improving procurement discipline, reducing disputes and helping projects make better decisions. Poor project administration can cause waste, delay, duplicated work, inefficient resource use and avoidable claims.

8. Reporting Concerns

Health, safety or environmental concerns should be reported promptly to the relevant site representative, client contact or Atlas CCM management.

9. Review

This policy may be reviewed periodically to reflect Atlas CCM's operating footprint, client requirements and recognised good practice.
